How the VPT works
Invitations and ranking
Every Registration of Interest (ROI) gets a VPT total, worked out from your SkillSelect Expression of Interest and your Victorian ROI. ROIs are ranked from the highest total down.
There are two ways to be invited. In each round, the highest totals across all eligible occupations are invited (most competitive), and the highest totals within each priority industry are invited (priority industry).
The VPT has no fixed pass mark, and invitations depend on how competitive the pool is in each round, so a total here cannot tell you whether you will be invited. You still need at least 65 points on the Australian Government's SkillSelect points test, which is separate from the VPT.
